DVI-A (analogue) connectors have been used with this adapter. Digital single link and dual link have been ignored in this adapter. This is due to the fact that they are not compatible with a component RGB signal so they are of no use. Therefore, other companies that claim that this type of cable/adapter are single or dual link are making empty promises, as that type of signal does not get transmitted. The DVI-A connector sends the signal to a component video (RGB/YPrPb) signal that has been separated into 3 constituent components, red, green and blue. Each constituent part of the cable is stored as 3 separate signals therefore stopping any local signal interfering and a purer signal is achieved. The cable has been made with dielectric material to maintain the 75ohm impedance across the cable and increase signal quality. Please remember that DVI cables/adapters dont transfer audio signals. This adapter works with all analogue devices that have DVI-A outputs and inputs. Please remember that analogue and digital devices cannot be used in conjunction with each other. For example, a computer that is producing a digital DVI signal cannot be used with a projector that only accepts an analogue DVI signal. This information can usually be found in the manual that comes with your equipment. Examples of equipment that use this adapter are; LCD monitors used for computers or just as TVs. Some HDTVs, Graphics cards, projectors, XBOX 360s, Wiis. -

SANYO
When it released the PLV-Z4, SANYO made a good move by marketing an LCD3 projector that was classified at the head of the produts in its category. The new PLV-Z5 of SANYO continues this success by exceeding the performances of its predecessor, in particular with the luminosity contrast. Thanks to innovative technologies, this product allows you to watch films in a cinema envrionment from the comfort of your own home. With a resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels and 16:9 format, the PLV-Z5 "HD ready"gives superb images in HD quality. The second HDMI input contributes effectively to the flexibility of position of the projector while making it possible to transmit all formats of digital data from an HDTV receiver or a DVD recorder. Various adjustment possibilities mean you can adapt the PLV-Z5 to several places in buildings, thanks in particular to the function of the Lens-Shift (image centering), the Keystone digital correction (to counter trapezoidal distortions when the PLV-Z5 is not resting on a level surface), and the wide angle lens with 2x zoom (which can display large sized images even in small areas). With its 1,100 lumens ANSI luminosity, the PLV-Z5 will certainly brighten up your day! The contrast ratio of 10,000:1 gives a contrast of such clarity and intensity that youandrsquo;ll think youandrsquo;re witting in a cinema! With the double iris function, sunlight gives not only the feeling of clarity, but also of heat, while the infinite extents of space are not grey, but a deep black. The 12 bit image management, which makes it possible to restore 10.7 billion colours, guarantees an image rich in details and strength. The PLV-Z5 is also characterised by its silent operation capability, which only confirms the solid advances of the PLV-Z5 compared to its considerable competitors. Add to these aspects the intuitive menus and the comfortable backlit remote control and you can be sure that the PLV-Z5 will guarantee you many years of viewing pleasure. -
